FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the Huff Road Multimodal Study?
A: This is an Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) funded study of how to improve Huff Road across several forms of transportation like walking, biking, driving and transit.
Q: Will this solve the traffic and poor sidewalks on Huff Road?
A: This is the necessary first step to identify what could change on Huff Road. Through a robust public engagement process, the Multimodal Study will identify a preferred concept for Huff Road (i.e. Huff Road 2.0) that improves the user experience.
Q: How do I participate in shaping Huff Road 2.0?
A:You can view the 10% concept here and provide input.
Q: When can I expect to see improvements to Huff Road?
A: Completing the concept for Huff Road 2.0 will take approximately 1 year (from Oct. '23 to Oct. '24). After the concept, additional funding will need to be raised to move from a concept to engineering design which then must be permitted by the City of Atlanta. Engineering design will provide a construction cost estimate for Huff Road 2.0. Once more, funding will need to be identified to build the permitting improvements.
